Born in Sittard, The Netherlands in ’83, Misha Angèle grew up in Muscat, Oman, where she started singing at the age of 4. Listening to Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Madonna, she knows she’ll be an artist too one day. When she’s 9, the family returns to The Netherlands where she still lives. She’s a nature girl. The desert, beach and tropics become part of her own culture.

In ’92 she bought her first album ever, Mariah Carey ’MTV Unplugged’. It’s the album that teaches her how to sing and Mariah is an inspiration til infinity. When Alicia Keys releases her first album ‘Songs in a Minor’ and later Kendrick Lamar debuts his major-label album ‘Good Kid, m.A.A.d city’, Misha Angèle feels inspired to write about her own story, creates melodies and hooks, but doesn’t writes her first song yet.

As a teenager, Misha Angèle joins RnB girl group ’T.Kay-oh’ and features Lumidee with ‘Make Me Wonder’, where she tours as a support act alongside Lumidee’s ‘Never Leave You (uh Oh)’ tour. The group separated 2 years after the release in ’04.

Graduating a University Marketing Master Degree, Misha Angèle started working in the fashion industry for nearly a decade. She burns out and that’s when she accidentally meets Hip hop producer Sliscobars, known for Dutch hit ‘Meisje Luister’ by rapper Kleine Viezerik ft. Mr. Probs. She picked up singing again which was therapy for her. In ’13 Kleine Viezerik released ‘Alles Kan’ with her. It wasn’t until 2016 she truly discovered songwriting when Sliscobars needed hooks and gave her beats to write on. She overcomes multiple burnouts and depressions and after many unhappy office jobs, she decides to switch to music to follow her heart in 2017.

Traveling is in her blood and so she visits deserts, beaches, tropics and cities, from LA to Tel Aviv, all over the world to write, sing and craft her skills.
